Green Growth: Growing strength or growing a tumour

Even as the terminology of green may appear more and more inflated, we at Elementa remain intrigued by the concept of Green Growth: The idea of decoupling growth in value from growth in negative environmental consequences. Put somewhat extremely, It's about the difference between growing ones strength and growing a tumour.

Recently we had the pleasure to attend the annual Green Economy seminar at BI in Oslo.  The session was captured on film and is now available at the website for the Centre for Green Growth.

Our favourites include the enthusiastic presentation by Dutch serial entrepreneur Gunter Pauli, who was not afraid to say his opinion about Norwegian entrepreneurial culture. (or the lack of it):

Another great presentation was made by Jon Funderud from Seaweed Solutions, who are exploring the huge untapped opportunities of subsea farming:

If you understand Norwegian, we also warmly recommend Per Espen Stoknes' speach on the state of affairs in the field of Green Growth
