During Designers Saturday and Oslo Art Weekend in September Elementa 2017 had the pleasure to host Swedish artist Roberto Peyre - and follow his Lövaman for an adventure in the streets and galleries of Oslo.

The Lövaman - for the occasion a patron saint of the Elemernta UT series of art and design objects interfacing nature, has been spotted all over the world the latest years, more often than not dressed in shivering green aspen leaves. The present appearence arose from the beautiful autumnal heather fields from highlands just outside the city centre of Oslo.

The Information Psychology Deck of Cards is an open ended creative tool with 64 different symbols, collected anonymously from artists, scientists, designers and others. 

Produced in a limited edition of 64 unique decks, none of the decks have the exact same selection of 64 symbols. The accompanying fold-out map gives an overview of the different symbols, with their corresponding short text which points towards possible interpretation of each symbol. 

Use the deck to access your deep inner imaginative resources by means of association, or invent your own games and cabals.

“The swirl arose from the imagery of a world of manifestations that were controlled by invisible pulleys and ropes - according to Descartes’ worldview, in which planets would be defined as worlds to themselves by the action of cosmic drains, with power a section to defined parallel worlds.”
